– Updates, ABC dummies and a new shape for the M4 Anime head –

First, lets get these updates out of the way, more things have been fixed on both heads, these would be:

*Fixed – An oversight with listeners in both HUDs not canceling when the ignore button is pressed on the UUID box, grabbing and applying later pasted UUIDs to the wrong parts of the head.
*Fixed – Bug with the script in the LL necks on both heads causing skins to apply wrong.
*Added – A secondary head shape, more about this one further down this post.
*Change – Version numbers have been changed for everything to 1.3 to avoid confusion.

– New things from ABC –

New type of pierced puffy addon nipples for the ABC bouncy boobs, these come as a free update to the ABC bouncy boobs.

ABC is tired of having to manually give people links to her dummies but too lazy to make a blog or a website of her own so she asked me to post these on mine, so here they are.

– New shape for the M4 Anime head –

So it seems that despite my best efforts to explain to people that since a rigged mesh head cannot be resized and moved around like the the old heads, you cannot make it fit every hair in existence, and because of that the head looks really weird with half of the hair you try it with, mainly because the face looks too big compared to the hair, making it look like either the eyes are too big or something else is off , and they just need to pick the right hair(Ayashi and Taketomi works well).

The right hair makes all the difference as you can see in this compilation of people doing it right.
cumpilation

But still not being able to use half of the hair on SL without looking really goofy is kind of a bummer so i was working on an alternative shape for those situations.

resize
Left is the old shape, right is the new shape.

What i did here is mostly just scale the face portion of the head bellow the forehead, I also fixed the super pointy chin cuz it was bugging me a lot, i also moved the mouth and nose upwards a little to compensate for the smaller chin as well as rotated and moved the portion of the face bellow the nose forward a little to make it look less weird from top angles as well as remove the impression that its always smiling.

Now if this wont make make the head basic bitch proof, nothing will.

*Changed – Replaced the pointless tongue hide feature with a selection between bento rigged and static tongues for situations like a third party AO HUDs making your tongue stick out through your teeth, and other tongue compatibility issues.

/!\Important, skin creators need to update their appliers to 1.1 for them to work with necks for 1.1 and up/!\
*New – Added Asymmetrical texture support in form of a “Pick a side” menu after choosing a texture
*Changed – You will now be asked to pick which side of the head you want to apply the Head, Normal, Specular, and Eye textures.

That is all for this update,  the next big update will come after the chibi head is released, the update will include the restructuring of the face and other goodies, there may or may not be some small bug fix updates in between.

– ABC stuff –

ABC has also released an update making the M4 kemono neck compatible with her boobs, also a version of the bikini that works with the her flat chest because that was requested a lot.

– New update migration process for UTILIZATOR and ABC Apparel products –

Okay so to recap once more for those of you who have been out of the loop, our old update cards do not work anymore because hippo vend (our update service provider) pulled the rug under everyone and left SL.

With a lot of help and persistence to make our life more easy from a friend that doesnt want to be named, We now have a better way for you to migrate your stuff to our new update system. This will save everyone a lot of trouble, no more jumping through hoops.

So all you need to do now is:

A. As before, if you made any purchases on the marketplace that dont fall into these dates (August 2014, January 2015, March 2015, April 2015 and May 2015) you can find your items in any casper redelivery terminal (my items have no preview images yet so look for blank squares in the list). I dont have a Casper redelivery terminal at my own store yet.

B. If you bought stuff in game or you cannot find your items in the casper redelivery terminal, follow these steps:

1. Go to may mainstore at AMH and find the update card terminal thingie.
2. Wear your old non working update card(s)
3. Click the UTILIZATOR or the ABC box to receive new card, For UTILIZATOR products, click the UTILIZATOR box, for ABC Apparel click the ABC box.

Thats all, happy updating and report any problems to me or ABC.

– Updates for ABC things –

>>>HOLY SHIT WTF i didnt think i need to say this but dont contact ABC for UTILIZATOR product updates, this guide is only for ABC Apparel stuff! For UTILIZATOR product updates click this <<<

ABC has migrated her stuff to a new update system, if you want to get the latest update card for your ABC stuff, do the following:

For marketplace users:

1. Go to the marketplace web page.
2. Click My marketplace.
3. Click My account.
4. Click order history and look for the item you need.

Once you find it, copy its order number (NOT the item ID!) it will be a 10 digit code on the left size under the purchase date, for example Order#1469386064. Make a new notecard, write the name of the item(s) you want redelivered and paste the order number(s) and send it to ABC.

Alternatively, if you have too much history to dig through, you can also find it in your mail if you keep your MP purchase confirmation emails, it should be called Invoice# but it will be the same 10 digit order number.

If you cant even find it there or you are not even sure if you even got it through the marketplace or if it was gifted to you, use the method bellow.

For ingame store users:

If you have bought the item in the ingame store locations.

1. Wear the item in question.(NOT the update card or the box, but the product itself)
2. Open its folder in your inventory.
3. Right click and edit the item to bring up the build menu.
4. Click on the general tab where it shows you as the owner and ABC as the creator of the item you are wearing.
5. Make sure your name tag is showing above your head.
6. Take a screenshot of everything, DO NOT save it to your SL inventory as a tiny ass unreadable snapshot, save it to your desktop and DO NOT upload it to SL, upload it to an image hosting website like www.imgur.com (please dont use websites that arent streamlined for image hosting, like drop box, they are a pain in the ass to view) and paste the link to ABC.
IF you have multiple images, upload them all to the same gallery you create.
Dont send pictures of boxes or update cards.

Due to the volume of update/redelivery requests, messages with incomplete information will be ignored. For example, just a messages such as “hello, i need update for the abc!” with no order number or other proof of ownership included, or tiny blurred sl snapshots or numbers that you copied from hell knows where that arent order numbers, so include that information up front. Also, DONTuse ABC’s or other people’s notecards, create one your self by right clicking anywhere in your inventory and choosing new notecard, it needs to have your name as the creator or ABC will not know who to send the update to.

>>>Send your ABC Apparel update request notecards and mesages to “o0ABC0o resident”!<<<

>>>For UTILIZATOR update request instructions, read the post bellow this one!<<<

– A new update system and how to get your update –

So To recap what happened, our update system died because hippo vend (our update service provider) pulled the rug under everyone and left SL.

For the past 2 weeks i have been working on migrating my products to a new update system, it was a huge pain in the ass, mostly due to LL’s inadequate web services when it came to retrieving marketplace sales data, and some data was lost, but most of it i manage to salvage.

So anyways, all the work is done, new update system with new update cards are in place and heres what you need to do to get your hands on those new update cards:

For marketplace users:

>>>Simply go to any casper vend redelivery termial and find the latest version of your item along with the new update card and request a redelivery.<<< I dont have one at my store yet but other stores around me should have one or two, also my items have no preview images yet.

I could not retrieve sales data for August 2014, January 2015, March 2015, April 2015 and May 2015, If you are one of the unlucky people that bought something during these months, heres what you need to do:

1. Go to the marketplace web page.
2. Click My marketplace.
3. Click My account.
4. Click order history and look for the item you need.

Once you find it, copy its order number (NOT the item ID!) it will be a 10 digit code on the left size under the purchase date, for example Order#1469386064. Make a new notecard, write the name of the item(s) you want redelivered and paste the order number(s) and send it to me. Do not include order numbers for things that are unaffected by these missing sales dates. scroll back up and read the part about the casper redelivery terminal.

Alternatively, if you have too much history to dig through, you can also find it in your mail if you keep your MP purchase confirmation emails, it should be called Invoice# but it will be the same 10 digit order number.

If you are really shit out of luck and cant even find it there or you are not even sure if you even got it through the marketplace, use the method bellow.

For ingame store users:

If you have bought the item in one of my ingame store locations, you are not completely fucked either, heres what you need to do:

1. Wear the item in question.(NOT the update card or the box, i need to see the product itself)
2. Open its folder in your inventory.
3. Right click and edit the item to bring up the build menu.
4. Click on the general tab where it shows you as the owner and me as the creator of the item you are wearing.
5. Make sure your name tag is showing above your head.
6. Take a screenshot of everything, DO NOT save it to your SL inventory as a tiny ass unreadable snapshot, save it to your desktop and DO NOT upload it to SL, upload it to an image hosting website like www.imgur.com (please dont use websites that arent streamlined for image hosting, like drop box, they are a pain in the ass to view) and paste me the link.
IF you have multiple images, upload them all to the same gallery you create.
Dont send me pictures of boxes or update cards.

Due to the volume of update/redelivery request messages i am getting, messages with incomplete information will be ignored. For example, just a messages such as “hello, i need update for kemono” with no order number or other proof of ownership included, with the intention of waiting for me to get back at you and ask you for that information, i have no time for these turn based games, so give me that information up front so that i could get back at you with an update ready. Or messages with tiny blurry screenshots of stuff, or random numbers you copied from fuck knows where that arent order numbers.

Do not include irrelevant items! Old products like the M2 anime heads that have no updates and never will, stuff that never came with a update card such as rikugou hairs and head gear and single color avatar 2.0 clothing items (unless you bought the fat pack that contains all the colors), these items dont have updates for them and are unrelated to this update system change, pretty much everything that does not originally come with an update card, is irrelevant.

OH and another thing, DONTuse my own or other people’s notecards, create one your self by right clicking anywhere in your inventory and choosing new notecard, it needs to have your name as the creator or i will not know who it came from and wont be able to get back at you.

– Year end update avalanche –

Alright, 2017 is about to end, and a lot of bug reports have piled up over the year, so its about time to kick and bunch of these updates through the door before we start 2018!

– Avatar 2.0 –

Fixed a bug with the alpha system hiding wrong parts of the body, for example, hiding the shoulder would hide a chunk of the torso.
Fixed an oversight in the HUD Skin tab – ADD texture button wasn’t working right in Lash|Brows|Hair modes.
Fixed alpha problems with 2 of the skins, they had an unused alpha channel that messed with things.
Fixed a problem with the included stockings not hiding right sections.
Finlay updated the nipples addon to work with the new avatar 2.0 hud, you can find those for free at my main store.

– Kemono –

Fixed a bug with the render weight in the kemono head, it should be back to normal now.

– Rikugou –

Heavy armor – Fixed a bug where the GM Riffle didnt point forward when in mouse look while crouching.
Temjin and Strike armors – The original problem reported was that the strike sit animation priority is set to 4 and it overrides the sit animations of furniture, but due to how SL handles sitting on prims now, the default LL sit animation will override the lover part of the body if the animation priority is set bellow 4, breaking the sit, so the solution is simply to turn off AO while sitting on furniture (witch is a common sense thing to do anyway). I also found that the temjin sit was set to priority 3 witch as i explained above was bad. Both strike and temjin sits are now set to 4 but i have also included sit animations set to priority 3 inside the HUD, they are marked with -pr3 for anyone that wants to use them instead of the priority 4 animations.
Rikugou A and B – Updated the heads with the FINE TOO talking mouth animation script by Cerise Sorbet as requested by her.
Heavy armor booster sound spam – We came up with a fix but we arent sure if the fix really fixed it, we dont know of a good way to reproduce the bug so its hard to test any fixes, so let us know if its still acting up, there is more information about this down bellow in the “Things that arent broken or cannot be fixed” part of this post

– M3 Anime Head –

Fixed the glow setting effecting the wrong eye layer, making the eye layers alpha glitch with each other.

– Clothing –

Fixed a problem with the Avatar 2.0 stockings hiding wrong sections, also included the animated texture versions of the stockings from the now discontinued experimental pack.
Fixed Avatar 2.0 socks not hiding any sections, and a naming error with one of the black socks being called white.
Fixed permission problems with some of the items in the S4 outfit pack.
Fixed the incorrect naming problem with the Avatar 2.0 medium and flat bikini tops.

– Misc –

Fixed a problem the Gantz and Audax Inc stores having incorrect physics shapes at AMH.
Updated my downloads section to include the missing school top textures as well as include the download links to the O.CA Armor and scarf, and school swimsuit textures.

— Things that arent broken or cannot be fixed —

– Kemono –

Wearing outfits from outfit folders messes up the alphas – This is a little something that cannot be fixed due to the way second life works. Normally, when adding a piece of clothing, a body part mod or anything else that needs to hide parts of the body, will send a hide command to the kemono body and it will hide the needed parts. Removing a piece of clothing or mod also sends a command to the body to show the parts that were hidden. The body needs to be added first and removed last, witch is not always the case with changing outfits. And this is where the problem is, things arent always removed or added in the correct order, For example, if you were wearing something that hides your torso, changing an outfit can remove the body first before that torso hiding item is removed, making that item send the show command to the kemono body that is no longer there to receive it, than putting the body back on will still have the torso still invisible because it never received that show command.

A workaround for this problem would be to use the outfit folders the way they were ment to be used, as outfit folders and not full avatar folders. For example, have a base avatar folder with just the naked avatar in it and save every outfit into its own folder without the avatar included in that folder, than simply use the “add to outfit” or “remove from outfit” buttons in the outfit folders to change those outfits. This way the alphas wont get screwed up and you will have a more tidy wardrobe as well.

– Rikugou –

Temjin and strike AOs, We are unable to reproduce the bug where it would get stuck in jumping animation, we know about this bug and have seen it ourselves, we just cannot reproduce it o demand, so we cannot do any testing to see if our fix worked or not.
Rikugou lite neck clipping with the neck part of the O.CA armor shirt, i cannot reproduce this clipping neither in game or blender, this might be specific to whatever animations you are using.

Heavy armor booster dash sound, the dash sound will randomly play sometimes when clicking on viewer UI elements with your mouse or WASD on your keyboard, this is a really bizzare bug that has more to do with the viewer than the booster itself. The sound somehow gets cached in the viewer sound memory and plays randomly on mouse and keyboard input (there is not a single line inside the script to do such a thing). Reproducing the bug is really difficult, it looks like it just happens when it feels like it, and without a good way to induce the bug, we cant do any meaningful testing or fixing for it, so if you know what triggers it or what this even is exactly, it would be helpful if you let us know.

– Clothing –

I had notes for problems with the following items but upon testing them i have found that i have already fixed them, but i have no memory of announcing those fixes so just in case i didnt heres what was fixed previously:

D2 skirt had incorrect faces assigned to meshes, mainly the belt loops and buckle.
Shorts and open shorts were clipping with skin tight pants and pantyhose.

Well thats it for now, there were other things reported that turned out to be either not reproducible or user error but we arent 100% and will need to investigate them further when we have time.

– Rikugou Updates –

I made a bunch of updates to the Rikugou avatars and the Predator armor.

Rikugou

Rearranged faces on the body for compatibility with upcoming third party mods.

Rikugou Lite

Added predator helmet compatibility, the helmet will now automatically hide your neck when worn.
Rearranged faces on the body for compatibility with upcoming third party mods, this update breaks the OC.A armor chest piece compatibility so use the also included older version of the body for that.

The Predator armor for Rikugou

Fixed a rigging/modeling bug at the back side of the ankles.
Added Rikugou Lite compatibility to the helmet, the helmet will now automatically hide the neck of Rikugou Lite body when worn (update your Rikugou Lite for this to work)
Added a function to the helmet to show or hide hair when the visor is up or down, put this script in your hair for it to work.

default{
    state_entry(){
        llListen(420,"","",(string)llGetOwner() + ":hairHide");
        llListen(420,"","",(string)llGetOwner() + ":hairShow");
    }
    listen(integer channel,string name,key id,string message){
        if(message == (string)llGetOwner() + ":hairShow"){
            llSetLinkAlpha(LINK_SET, 1.0, ALL_SIDES);
        }
        if(message == (string)llGetOwner() + ":hairHide"){
            llSetLinkAlpha(LINK_SET, 0.0, ALL_SIDES);
        }
    }
}

(Can also find it in the bonus item box). Lift the visor up before detaching the helmet because i was too lazy to script it to show hair on detach, might do it later on.

– Updates –

Some updates for the 2 new Rikugou armors.

Heavy armor:
Fixed a problem with the riffle, when setting damage to 0 caused the bullet to loose physical properties.
Included missing readme.

Predator armor:
Added a face piece that can be seen through the mouth of the helmet so that you wouldn’t need to wear a full head under it, reducing render complexity.
Fixed an error in the readme about a scripted weapon that doesnt exist in this set.

– Updates and other cool stuff –

– Updates –

Get your update cards out for these hot new updates for all the m3 heads and avatar2.0

M3 Anime head v1.12.21:
-Head was restructured for better blinking code optimization, this fix should end the double eyelash thing once and for all, i hope…
-Added diagonal eye rolls in the roll menu.(finally!)
-Removed downwards eye angles from eye movement to fix the “I’ve seen some shit” look on your avatar’s face. (downwards angles can still be selected from the roll menu)
-Code optimizations regarding link tracking and other stuff.

M3 Venus Head v1.12.51:
-Fixed a bug with the tongue out + voice chat mouth animations causing the left eye to go blank.
-Removed downwards eye angles from eye movement.
-Code optimizations.

M3 Kemono Head v1.13.30:
-Optimized blinking, this hopefully fix any blinking bugs.
-Fixed broken voice chat animation.
-Removed downwards eye angles from eye movement.
-Code optimization.

Avatar 2.0 v1.12.27:
-Fixed a bug with custom textures not applying to eyelashes.
-Fixed the no copy issue with the main box.
-Added the missing voice chat animation gestures.
-Code optimizations.

Theres also something updated with the kemono body itself, i think the link tracking thing but im not sure cuz i forgot D:

The downwards angles explained

In reality, when the human eye is looking down, the eyelid moves down too, covering the white part above the iris. On SL however, this doesn’t happen, leaving your avatar with this really uncanny “I’ve seen some shit” look on your avatar’s face. So we removed the ability for the eye to look down during eye movement. But all the downwards angles can still be set through the eye roll menu in the options so no changes there.

– Rikugou customization contest 2! –

As the work on the armors is closing a finish, it’s probably a good idea to give you guys a heads up, theres gonna be another Rikugou customization contest at launch of the 2 new armors, so you guys would have plenty of time to prepare for it. So get your Phtochop or MS Paint ready cuz you might be the lucky winner of one (or both) of the new armors !

More details about the contest will come soon.
