– Fixed – Restructured the head and rearranged all its faces to solve the problem with blush layer alpha glitching through the eye texture layer. (never mind this, now it alpha glitches with the eyelashes…)
– Changed – The restructuring allowed me to set different faces to both side of the head in the hidden ear area for asymmetrical texturing support.
– Changed – Came up with a better way to hide ears, the texture will be pinched and barely noticeable now instead of having a 2D image of an ear.
– Changed – Each eyebrow now has its own face so you can apply a different texture to each through the build menu.
– Changed – The hairbase is now split in 2 Faces so you can add different textures to both sides through the build menu.

Casper updates situation

We have received a word from casper vend and their saying that basically LL fucked something up after migrating to the cloud and they cant fix it on their end so the casper team is completely re-writing their end of the system to work around this problem, the update service is up and running but it will not always respond so if you do not get your update right away, do not despair and try again later, also try doing it from different sims and do not flood the server with too many update requests cause that will just make it harder to get an update.

– More updates –

Heres some updates for last nights updates, we goofed some things up with the old M4 heads, we also made an M4 Kemono neck that accepts skin textures from body appliers, this wont be a seamless join but it will still be better than using the neck of the body and seeing parts of it inside your mouth.

M4 Anime / M4 Chibi
– Fixed – Eye roll and eye size commands were named wrong

M4 Venus / M4 Mars
– Fixed – Wrong blink animation name in script, spamming you with errors.

M4 Kemono

OK its time to pull out your semi functioning update cards cause we fixed a whole lot of issues and added a bunch of the new M4 head features into the older M4 heads.

I have added 2 experimental features to the Chipmunk and Bakemono heads.

The Snout shape option Is a nose bone deformer that is supposed to make the snout look a bit slimmer, some people were complaining about the big upper lip on the long snout version so this should fix that problem.

The Sharp teeth option in the Chipmunk head is still a work in progress, needs a bit more work to be done on it to make it look more cute but it will allow you to turn it into other kinds of animals that arent rodents.

And now to the bug fixes and updates.

Head specific fixes and changes:

M4 Texture appliers
– Added – Support for the second set of lashes in M4 AnnieMay.

M4 AnnieMay v1.1
– Fixed – Eyebrow UV overlapping into itself, messing with thick looking brow textures.

known problems that are yet to be fixed:

M4 AnnieMay
– Blush Layer messes with the alphas of the eye textures when activated, will need to restructure the alpha layers Based on M4 Anime
– Custom thick looking brow textures get streched unevenly when eyes close, will need to improve the rigging in that area.
– Left and right side ear areas of the head share the same face when ears are hidden.

M4 Kemono
– The Kemono body neck is visible inside the mouth of the M4 Kemono head, will need to make a neck addon that uses the kemono body texture instead of its own, wont be a seamless join but at least it will be a join and fix the mouth problem for people that wanna use older skins that dont have neck textures.

– M3 Kemono brows will not apply to the M4 kemono, this one is not a bug, the M3 brows cannot work with M4 heads because they used tiled textures for each frow state instead of one brow texture that is deformed using bento bones, so they are incompatible.

– Updates –

Normie head Version 7.0

Added a tattoo layer.
Added necks for Kemono and Avatar 2.0 bodies, neck options can be found in options menu.
Removed ear bone vertex groups so your head will now will work right with bento animal ears.
The makeup button on the now brings up a makeup menu, due to some scripting fuckery, the buttons are not very responsive so they may need to be pressed a few times to work.

Unfortunately this update has taken me longer than it should have and has been further delayed by holidays and i really wanted to do this before christmas or at least before the year ends, so i had to push it out, theres some problems with seams under the chin on the LL and kemono necks where they connect to the head, and a seam above forehead, i have no idea how i didnt pick that up when i was testing it so i will keep the older version in the package as well in case the seam under the chin bothers anyone, until i fix it in the next update.

Update to the Kemono head

Kemono head had a bug where the white part of the eye would not accept any textures, that is fixed now.

– A bunch of important updates and a new stuff –

So first things first, a bunch of much needed updates to existing products.

The M4 Anime And M4 Chibi heads now include experimental Necks for the Rikugou lite body, theres some caveats to these so be sure to see the updated manual for what those are and how to use these necks.

The M4 texture applier has been updated to support the new necks for Rikugou.

M4 Mars has a bug fixes with the right eye that made it have a small triangle artifact every time custom eye textures were used. Theres also a minor triangulation change on the blush layer above the nose.

The Necks of all the M4 Heads now automatically change alpha mode to none every time a texture is applied to prevent alpha problems with incorrectly exported custom textures.

Also, i finally fixed the mirrored label problem on the right leg of Rikugou A and B, dunno why i didnt do it sooner.

Now, there was also supposed to be a big update for the Normie head that i wanted to release in this batch of updates as well but the omega applier team is now on a vcation and i cannot finish this update without them, and with some of these updates being already long overdue combined with the new product release that i cannot delay any longer either, i decided to release all this stuff without the Normie head update and set that for a later date when its finished.

And if you are interested on what those Normie updates are, these would be a much needed extra makeup/tattoo layer, necks for Kemono and avatar 2.0, removing the ear weights that messed with bento animal ears, closed ear holes for when ears are hidden and some other fixes.

Im not sure how long their vacation will be but im hoping i can release this before christmas.

Alright, 2017 is about to end, and a lot of bug reports have piled up over the year, so its about time to kick and bunch of these updates through the door before we start 2018!

– Avatar 2.0 –

Fixed a bug with the alpha system hiding wrong parts of the body, for example, hiding the shoulder would hide a chunk of the torso.
Fixed an oversight in the HUD Skin tab – ADD texture button wasn’t working right in Lash|Brows|Hair modes.
Fixed alpha problems with 2 of the skins, they had an unused alpha channel that messed with things.
Fixed a problem with the included stockings not hiding right sections.
Finlay updated the nipples addon to work with the new avatar 2.0 hud, you can find those for free at my main store.

– Kemono –

Fixed a bug with the render weight in the kemono head, it should be back to normal now.

– Rikugou –

Heavy armor – Fixed a bug where the GM Riffle didnt point forward when in mouse look while crouching.
Temjin and Strike armors – The original problem reported was that the strike sit animation priority is set to 4 and it overrides the sit animations of furniture, but due to how SL handles sitting on prims now, the default LL sit animation will override the lover part of the body if the animation priority is set bellow 4, breaking the sit, so the solution is simply to turn off AO while sitting on furniture (witch is a common sense thing to do anyway). I also found that the temjin sit was set to priority 3 witch as i explained above was bad. Both strike and temjin sits are now set to 4 but i have also included sit animations set to priority 3 inside the HUD, they are marked with -pr3 for anyone that wants to use them instead of the priority 4 animations.
Rikugou A and B – Updated the heads with the FINE TOO talking mouth animation script by Cerise Sorbet as requested by her.
Heavy armor booster sound spam – We came up with a fix but we arent sure if the fix really fixed it, we dont know of a good way to reproduce the bug so its hard to test any fixes, so let us know if its still acting up, there is more information about this down bellow in the “Things that arent broken or cannot be fixed” part of this post

– M3 Anime Head –

Fixed the glow setting effecting the wrong eye layer, making the eye layers alpha glitch with each other.

– Clothing –

Fixed a problem with the Avatar 2.0 stockings hiding wrong sections, also included the animated texture versions of the stockings from the now discontinued experimental pack.
Fixed Avatar 2.0 socks not hiding any sections, and a naming error with one of the black socks being called white.
Fixed permission problems with some of the items in the S4 outfit pack.
Fixed the incorrect naming problem with the Avatar 2.0 medium and flat bikini tops.

– Misc –

Fixed a problem the Gantz and Audax Inc stores having incorrect physics shapes at AMH.
Updated my downloads section to include the missing school top textures as well as include the download links to the O.CA Armor and scarf, and school swimsuit textures.

 

— Things that arent broken or cannot be fixed —

 

– Kemono –

Wearing outfits from outfit folders messes up the alphas – This is a little something that cannot be fixed due to the way second life works. Normally, when adding a piece of clothing, a body part mod or anything else that needs to hide parts of the body, will send a hide command to the kemono body and it will hide the needed parts. Removing a piece of clothing or mod also sends a command to the body to show the parts that were hidden. The body needs to be added first and removed last, witch is not always the case with changing outfits. And this is where the problem is, things arent always removed or added in the correct order, For example, if you were wearing something that hides your torso, changing an outfit can remove the body first before that torso hiding item is removed, making that item send the show command to the kemono body that is no longer there to receive it, than putting the body back on will still have the torso still invisible because it never received that show command.

A workaround for this problem would be to use the outfit folders the way they were ment to be used, as outfit folders and not full avatar folders. For example, have a base avatar folder with just the naked avatar in it and save every outfit into its own folder without the avatar included in that folder, than simply use the “add to outfit” or “remove from outfit” buttons in the outfit folders to change those outfits. This way the alphas wont get screwed up and you will have a more tidy wardrobe as well.

– Rikugou –

Temjin and strike AOs, We are unable to reproduce the bug where it would get stuck in jumping animation, we know about this bug and have seen it ourselves, we just cannot reproduce it o demand, so we cannot do any testing to see if our fix worked or not.
Rikugou lite neck clipping with the neck part of the O.CA armor shirt, i cannot reproduce this clipping neither in game or blender, this might be specific to whatever animations you are using.

Heavy armor booster dash sound, the dash sound will randomly play sometimes when clicking on viewer UI elements with your mouse or WASD on your keyboard, this is a really bizzare bug that has more to do with the viewer than the booster itself. The sound somehow gets cached in the viewer sound memory and plays randomly on mouse and keyboard input (there is not a single line inside the script to do such a thing). Reproducing the bug is really difficult, it looks like it just happens when it feels like it, and without a good way to induce the bug, we cant do any meaningful testing or fixing for it, so if you know what triggers it or what this even is exactly, it would be helpful if you let us know.

– Clothing –

I had notes for problems with the following items but upon testing them i have found that i have already fixed them, but i have no memory of announcing those fixes so just in case i didnt heres what was fixed previously:

D2 skirt had incorrect faces assigned to meshes, mainly the belt loops and buckle.
Shorts and open shorts were clipping with skin tight pants and pantyhose.

Well thats it for now, there were other things reported that turned out to be either not reproducible or user error but we arent 100% and will need to investigate them further when we have time.
